stand in Bogue Chitto, MS, a property I'd owned for decades.

raw land. Why?
I knew I had no desire
whatsoever to continue owning property, and I knew an
ABSOLUTE auction attains the highest results (high bidder
KNOWS he'll own property upon auction's conculsion!!).

June 23, 2010 (a mere
62 days after the last tree was cut!!).

Result?
fifteen (15)
registered bidders. Final bid =
$1,225/acre
($1,347.50/acre with buyer's premium). Close date:
July 15, 2010 (a mere 84 days after
last tree was cut!!).

These results testify to auction's effectiveness, efficiency, and
ability to derive the maximum price the market will bear
through intense, competitive bidding in a timeframe that
traditional sales methods simply can't match.
